DRAFT — PENDING ATTORNEY REVIEW. Not legal advice; not yet approved for production launch.
This policy explains how Bentontech Solutions ("we") handles information when you use BINDER.
BINDER uses coarse, general location only. We do not collect GPS or your exact or home location. You choose a general area label (for example a neighbourhood or town) and, optionally, a public venue. Open-to-meeting status and venue check-ins expire automatically.
To run the Service, show you to people you choose to be visible to, keep members safe, respond to reports and improve BINDER. We do not sell your personal information.
We use hosting and database providers to store data, an AI provider to generate chat suggestions (it receives both members' interests and bios for that request), and Google Maps to find public venues (it receives the area label you search). They process data only to provide those services.
We keep as little as we can: "open to meeting" status and venue check-ins expire automatically (within hours) and are not kept as a location history. Profile, matches and messages are kept while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time by emailing us; we aim to do so promptly, except where we must keep information for safety or legal reasons.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to certain uses. Contact us to make a request.
We use access controls so members can only read the data described above. No system is perfectly secure, so please share carefully.
BINDER is only for adults 21 or older. We delete accounts we learn belong to anyone under 21.
We will update the date above and notify you in the app of material changes.
